Before flying to Tanzania, we visited a coffee plantation near Nairobi. This little bird was at the edge of the coffee field.

Another coffee plantation picture.

Flew to Arusha and then drove to Manyara. On the way, we took a break and Tony jammed with these guys.

Our lodge was perched on the edge of a steep cliff, to discourage animal visitors.

These tremendously loud weaver birds, at the lodge, woke us up at dawn.

We saw hundreds of baboons. They were not shy at all. This photo was taken using no zoom whatsoever.

Another of the innumerable Manyara baboons.

Giraffes at the shore of Lake Manyara.

Drummers back at the lodge. Whenever they spotted the camera, they would smile and wave. Rhonda hid in the bushes to get this less-distracted photo.

Us just before leaving Manyara, with the lake in the background.
